  1. Please follow the instructions on each step accurately. DO NOT SKIP OR IGNORE ANY OF THEM. All instructions are important for successful activation.
  2. We seek your cooperation to read the instructions. It frustrates yourself and us when we require you to redo the activation request and will affect activation of SIM Card by 24 hours or more.
  3. SIMCARD.SG will not take responsibility any issues with SIM Card due to failure to follow instructions provided on the activation form and instruction sheet. You are advised to provide a valid, contactable WhatsApp enabled phone number.
  4. Activation request is only considered submitted when you see a "SUCCESS" page AFTER pressing "Submit Activation Request" button. Internet access is needed to submit the activation request. SIMCard.SG will ONLY contact you if there are issues activating your SIM Card when you provide a valid WhatsApp enabled phone number.

All documents and information requested are required by either telco or local country regulators.
If requested, ORIGINAL, UNMODIFIED, COLOUR DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED.
There are no exceptions to this requirement.

This form is an ACTIVATION REQUEST FORM. Submitted requests will be verified by SIMCARD.SG within 24 hours and activation process starts after succcessful verification.
SIM Card activation by telecom company may take more than 24 hours. SIMCARD.SG may not be able to expedite some requests if submitted last minute.

Specific SIM Card Instructions

All Australia SIM Card: Submit your ACTUAL flight ARRIVAL DATE AND TIME (convert to Singapore Time, e.g. 5.30pm in Melbourne/Sydney is 2.30pm in Singapore) as stated on your booking itinerary from the airline. SIM Card must be used within 24 hours of your activation date and time otherwise it will be permanently terminated with no refunds. If there are changes to your flight arrival timing, please inform us immediately.

USA T-Mobile SIM Card: Urgent Processing Fee may be charged for activation requests within the next 5 days. Non-payment of activation fee will result in delayed activation.

USA AT&T / Cricket SIM Card: Submit your ACTUAL flight ARRIVAL DATE AND TIME (converted to Singapore Time) as stated in your booking itinerary. If you require phone number earlier, contact us to arrange for earlier activation.

All other SIM Cards not mentioned above: Submit the date and time you arrive at the destination (converted to Singapore Time). It is advised to submit 1 or 2 days earlier for activation date if you do not require the full validity period of the SIM Card.

Last Minute Request (Less than 48 Hours Notice): Please ensure that you have entered all information correctly or there may be processing delay. If your requested timeslot is not available, select the next available date and time slot, submit the form. All urgent requests must contact us (please include your preferred activation date and time if different). NOTE: URGENT PROCESSING IS NOT GUARANTEED. FAILURE TO CONTACT US MAY RESULT IN DELAYED ACTIVATION

Your SIM Card may be activated 24 hours in advance of the activation day specified and validity started on that day. (e.g. if activation date is 22nd, it may be activated 21st). Please inform us if activating one day in advance will affect your usage so we can make special arrangements.

Date and Time provided must be converted to Singapore Time (GMT +8). We are unable to accept foreign timings.


Instructions for Contact Number READ THIS

  1. Provide phone number (WhatsApp enabled) of the person USING the SIM Card in case of any issues with activation. Country code must be included if WhatsApp is not Singapore Number.
  2. DO NOT enter the phone number on the SIM Card. We will NOT be able to contact you.

If the phone number provided is invalid or uncontactable, SIMCARD.SG will NOT take ANY responsibliity if you are unable to use your SIM Card due to activation issues. Instead, you will be responsible for contacting us.

SIMCard.SG will only contact you IF THERE ARE ISSUES WITH ACTIVATION.


Instructions for Email Address
  1. If provided, a copy of the activation request will be sent to the email address stated. Your email will also be used as alternate contact for any issues if we are unable to reach you via WhatsApp.
  2. If no email address is provided, confirmation email will not be sent.
  3. No email or any form of confirmation will be sent when SIM Card is activated.

SIM CARD Registration is a COMPULSORY registration process in accordance with local country or telecom authority regulations.
There are NO EXCEPTIONS to these requirements.

Your information will be handled in strictest confidence by SIMCARD.SG as stated by our Privacy Policy and the "PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT 2012 (PDPA) - SINGAPORE" in accordance with the data retention policies stated below. The Foreign Telco Company/Partner will handle the information according to their local law or requirements.

Documents that do not meet the telco requirements WILL result in a BLOCKED SIM CARD or DELAYS in activation by at least 24 hours.
SIMCARD.SG will not be held responsible if SIM Cards are blocked, unusable, or cannot be activated on time if you fail to submit required documents as per requirements.

Any documents submitted will be registered to the SIM Card Number submitted. By submitting registration documents, you agree that the SIM Card will be registered to the details on the documents submitted. Note that attempting to register multiple SIM Cards to the same person, underage persons or usage of fake documents may be rejected by SIMCard.SG or Telco.


IMAGE REQUIREMENTS

How to Take Travel / ID Document Photo:
1. Take photo of page of the Passport or ID Document that contains the NAME and PASSPORT/ID NUMBER.
2. Remove all protective covers
3. Place document on a FLAT Surface (wall, floor or table is recommended).
4. Disable camera flash. Use natural lighting.
5. Take photo as directly above the travel document and not at any angle.

Ensure that:
All personal details on the document must be readable and must not be digitally altered
All four corners of the document must be visible in the photo with buffer/plain area around the picture.
Shadows and bright reflections must not appear on the image
Travel / ID Document must be VALID and NOT EXPIRED. EXPIRED Documents are NOT accepted.
DO NOT DIGITALLY WATERMARK/EDIT/CROP/FILTER THE IMAGE.
DO NOT USE A SCANNER OR ANY DOCUMENT SCANNING APPS (e.g. CamScanner, DocuScan, etc.). ONLY USE YOUR REGULAR PHONE CAMERA APP.

Still not sure how to take? Take a photo of the document with your phone exactly like how you would take photo of your friends/family when on holiday. Just like how you would not accept a photo with bright reflections, blur or missing half of the faces and blurred scenery, we do not accept such photos too.

To ensure that there are no problems with the image submitted, here are some questions:
  • Is the image above of acceptable quality if this was a picture of you/your friends on holiday?
  • Are all the words and numbers on the image clearly readable by a machine?
  • Would you submit this image to a government department/bank on an official electronic form?

If your answer is yes to all of the questions, please proceed to submit the registration form. Otherwise, please re-take the photo.


PICTURE REQUIREMENTS

All Four Corners of Passport, ETA or Entry VISA must be visible.

No Shadows, No Bright Reflections (DO NOT USE FLASH)
Place ID DOCUMENT on a FLAT surface.
Photo must be directly facing the ID DOCUMENT and not at ANY angle.
Visa Documentation must be RECENT and VALID.
DO NOT WATERMARK YOUR IMAGE.

Please upload a screenshot or photo of your entire Australian Entry Document (ETA or Visa).
All details must be visible for registration (Name, Gender, Passport Number, Date of Birth).
Passport is NOT accepted. All visitors to Australia require ENTRY PROOF using Passport and Australian VISA or ETA.

This must be the phone that you are using your SIM Card in.

Important Notes

By submitting this form, you hereby acknowledge the following:

  • Please refer to our instruction sheet as there may be additional steps required to use the SIM Card
  • We may activate SIM Cards up to 24 hours prior to your stated date/time.
  • Please DO NOT plug in the SIM Card prior to arrival in the foreign country after registering the SIM Card with on our website. Should SIM testing be permitted by our instruction sheet, test your SIM Card BEFORE submitting to our website. We regret to inform that we will not be able to acceed to refunds once your SIM Card is REGISTERED on our website.
  • Activation delays are possible due to issues with the telco's systems that are not within our control. Unless you are informed to submit actual arrival date and time, we strongly advice that you allow some buffer time should you NOT require the full duration of the SIM purchased.
    This is an Activation REQUEST form, your SIM Card is NOT activated until the day specified and as long as the SIM Card is not activated, you can change your activation date and time by resubmitting the form.
  • Network speed and signal are not within SIMCARD.SG's control and are subject to the local telecommunications company. Speed and signal coverage may be affected by many factors, such as but not limited to, terrain, phone, device and number of users on the network.
  • Kindly CONTACT US using WiFi if you have any issue with your SIM Card upon arrival. We regret to inform that we are unable to acceed to any assistance or refund requests should you consult a third party that is unrelated to SIMCARD.SG.

Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) - Singapore

Our Privacy Policy follows the requirement of the PDPA Act in Singapore and can be found here.

By submitting the information on this form to us, you hereby acknowledge that:

  • All information submitted is valid to the best of your knowledge.
  • You are the legal holder of any documentation that you have submitted.
  • You allow SIMCARD.SG to share this information with (Telco) or its partners for identity verification and SIM Card Registration.
  • You allow SIMCARD.SG to keep submitted documents (Passport/ID) for up to 30 days after your requested activation date.
  • You allow SIMCARD.SG to permanently retain registration metadata for security reasons (SIM Type, SIM Number, Requested Activation Date, Email and Contact Number).
  • You allow SIMCARD.SG to use this information for the sole purpose of registering and activating the above SIM Card with (Telco) or its partners (direct or indirect).
  • You allow (Telco) or its partners (direct or indirect) to retain documents submitted as per their requirements that is not within SIMCARD.SG's control.

Your information is safely and securely stored in our servers and will be stored and used in accordance to the "Personal Data Protection Act 2012" (PDPA) for the purposes stated above.
